Our Integrated Team
Our pediatricians are skilled in managing many behavioral health concerns. In cases where more expertise is needed, our Integrated Behavioral Health team can provide consultation or direct services. We are the only pediatric private practice in the area with a psychiatrist who is also board-certified in pediatrics! Our therapists also have their own offices at all of our locations.
How It Works:
You must be a patient at our practice to see our behavioral health providers. Wait times are variable. If your pediatrician feels you need more support than they can provide, the pediatrician will place a referral for psychiatry, therapy, or both. Our team will collaborate with the pediatrician throughout your care. Our team will review the referral information. You will be asked to complete specific forms prior to scheduling your appointment.
Psychiatry:
Dr. Minton starts with a 60 minute diagnostic evaluation, then will continue to see patients that are on medications.
Therapy: Therapists will establish treatment goals, then provide behavioral strategies to meet these goals. Under some circumstances, we will direct you to
providers outside of our practice to receive the most appropriate care.
